Rough Trade Records announces US label manager

Rough Trade Records is excited to announce the appointment of Melanie Sheehan as their new US Label manager.
 
Melanie has been with the Beggars Group since the fall of 2014 in the role of product manager where she has overseen campaigns for dozens of artists across the labels including Spoon, Yo La Tengo, Julien Baker, Car Seat Headrest, Grimes, Kamasi Washington, Kaytranada and unique releases from Sigur Ros, Scott Walker, and Frank Ocean.
 
She brings her wide range of experience to the label, having already managed the releases for Warpaint, Parquet Courts, and Princess Nokia, to name a few. She is excited to work with all of Rough Trade's unique stable of artists and to grow the label and roster.
 
Prior to Beggars, Melanie was a project manager at the Secretly Group. Before that, in her Seattle hometown, she was a manager and buyer at Sonic Boom Records for 10 years.
