Record Industry and Bertus Distribution join forces

Record Industry, one of Europe’s largest vinyl pressing plants, and Bertus Distribution, Europe's largest independent distributor of vinyl & CDs, are merging into one group.

Record Industry and Bertus Distribution have been longstanding partners in Music On Vinyl, which has since grown into one of the largest vinyl-only labels in the world.

The merger will allow the group to further invest in wide-ranging services in the music industry to artists, labels, publishers and consumers.

The combined entity is greatly expanding its pressing capacity - practically doubled - to around 25 million units per year. The Group will also make further investments in IT and logistics systems to ensure smooth growth. This will make the group an even stronger partner for continuity and growth for all players in the music sector.
