pointblank Music School Launches New BSc (Hons) Degree - Bridging Music Production & Software Engineering

As a clear investment into UK Tech talent, pointblank Music School has launched its BSc (Hons) Music Production & Software Engineering degree (aka MuSE), designed for students passionate about both music and technology. This programme combines cutting-edge music production training with advanced software development, enabling graduates to create audio plugins, synthesisers and eHects using C++. Through longterm partnerships with industry leaders such as Ableton, Focusrite and Beatport, students gain one-of-a-kind access to mentorship, internships and industry expertise preparing them for successful careers in audio, software development and tech-driven sectors. There is no other degree like this.

To support students and the UK Tech sector, pointblank has introduced the MuSE Scholarship, offering UK students who meet the entry requirements an annual £3,000 award, paid in three termly instalments and totalling £9,000 across three years. Those opting to take the 1-year certificate are also eligible. You will automatically receive this scholarship if you are a UK (Home) student and if you meet the entry requirements so there are no long forms to fill in. The initiative coincides with the launch of the School’s new state-of-the-art Penn Street campus in Shoreditch, London. “The MuSE Scholarship underscores our mission to discover and nurture world-class creative and technical talent,” said Rob Cowan, Founder & CEO of pointblank.
