Phil Bowdery, President of Touring at Live Nation Europe, will be honoured with the OVO Hydro Promoter of the Year Award at the 2024 Specsavers Scottish Music Awards.

Renowned industry veteran Phil Bowdery, President of Touring at Live Nation Europe, has been awarded the prestigious OVO Hydro Promoter of the Year Award at the 2024 Specsavers Scottish Music Awards. 

Bowdery’s longstanding dedication to live music and his instrumental role in bringing top-tier talent to iconic venues like the OVO Hydro have solidified his status as a key figure in the global music scene. His unwavering commitment to delivering unforgettable live experiences has made a significant impact on the Scottish entertainment landscape. 

Upon receiving the award, Bowdery expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am extremely honoured to be the recipient of this year's OVO Hydro Promoter Award. Due to our long-standing relationship, Glasgow and the OVO Hydro hold a very dear place in my heart. I’d like to thank them and Nordoff and Robbins for this incredible recognition.” 

The OVO Hydro Promoter of the Year Award is a testament to Bowdery's exceptional contributions to the live music industry and his dedication to bringing world-class entertainment to audiences in Scotland.

The Specsavers Scottish Music Awards is a celebration of Scottish music and a vital source of funding for Nordoff and Robbins on November 2nd at Barrowland Ballroom.
