Orfium appoints Vanessa Brennan as Chief Transformation Officer

Newly created role aims to support Orfium's drive for further growth and innovation

Orfium (the 'Company'), the global technology leader solving the entertainment industry's biggest challenges around digital music and broadcast rights management, has announced the appointment of Vanessa Brennan to the newly created role of Chief Transformation Officer. Reporting directly to Orfium CEO, Rob Wells, Vanessa will focus on driving operational excellence across the company and aligning cross-functional teams to support Orfium's ambitious strategic growth goals. 

With a career spanning more than 20 years, Vanessa brings a wealth of experience as a seasoned engineering and product leader with a proven track record in building and scaling high performing teams. She joins Orfium from Slack, where over a period of more than six years she held senior international positions, including Director of Engineering and Senior Director of Infrastructure. During her time at Slack, she played a pivotal role in delivering International Data Residency in more than eight regions, she drove incident response to improve the overall reliability of the platform worldwide, and she coordinated the teams responsible for the redesign of databases for the next generation of scaling challenges. Prior to Slack, she was Delivery Lead and Product Lead at Spotify, overseeing security, internal controls and critical system monitoring processes.
