AMPOLLO, the groundbreaking new platform that allows artists, songwriters and producers at all levels to practice, record, collaborate, network and drive revenue has announced three senior hires across key management roles.

As a full stack developer for over 25 years and with over a decade spent running his own agency, his experience encompasses working throughout a broad range of sectors with previous clients who include ARCAM (audio equipment), TROY London (high end fashion) and VICE (journalistic publication) among others.
Anthony Walters will assume the role of Commercial Director, with a remit to implement licence agreements and build partnerships with publishers, labels, artists and producers. Anthony has extensive experience in music and entertainment rights having founded Cinephonix, a successful music publishing and technology business in 2006. He also launched Tunebud, a cloud-based music licensing and e-commerce platform, which is now used by composers and music publishers across the globe. The combined business areas now manage over 250,000 music tracks from over 15,000 composers and over 75 music publishers.
Tong Li has been appointed Trend and Data Analyst for AMPOLLO and will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's product development and business direction. Her work will combine comprehensive market trend analysis with in-depth user behaviour analytics, identifying emerging patterns in the music collaboration and digital creativity space. Prior to joining the company , Tong worked as a data analyst at Petit Pli, a UK-based material technology company celebrated with prestigious accolades including the James Dyson Awards, the Dezeen Awards, and the Global Change Award among others.
All three will be based in London and will report directly to the company’s Co-Founders, CEO Yoram Ben-Israel and CMO Mark Alexiou.
AMPOLLO provides a unique range of user-friendly tools and engagement opportunities to creators working in music. It empowers musicians and artists to grow their audiences while utilising the platform’s proprietary studio tools to remix, create with others and unlock creator and audience rewards. Artists, labels and other rights holders can also market and distribute music to their already engaged fans to enjoy in an immersive, gamified way, opening up new revenue streams for the wider music industry. It recently entered agreements and partnered on a range of initiatives with several music industry companies and organisations including BIMM, The Royal Academy, Studiospares and Pirate Studios.
Mark Alexiou said, “It wasn’t easy finding a CTO at Jolyon’s level who is also an audiophile with extensive music knowledge across multiple genres and a talented multi discipline musician and producer. It was equally challenging to find talented professionals as skilled as Tong who is a leading data analyst specialising in future music trends and Anthony who is not only an expert in both licensing and publishing but also has a plethora of experience in various fields within music law and owns and operates a music technology platform. These three additions to our senior management team have really expanded AMPOLLO’s base of expertise and will significantly accelerate the pace of our development and capabilities.
