Kobalt Music Signs Cosmo's Midnight to Worldwide Publishing Deal

Kobalt today announced the signing of Cosmo's Midnight to a global publishing deal. The deal includes a full range of creative, synch, and administration services for their catalog and future works.

Cosmo's Midnight are an Australian electronic music duo consisting of twin brothers, Cosmo and Patrick Liney. Their 2018 debut studio album, What Comes Next, reached the top 40 on the ARIA Albums Chart. The duo boasts 315 million streams, 2 platinum and 3 gold records.

Simon Moor, managing director, Kobalt Music Group APAC said, "My first conversation with Patrick and Cosmo was not only highly entertaining but also inspiring. It became obvious to me and Dominique Keegan that the combination of their songwriting talent and vision, together with Kobalt's global creative approach to career development, would lead to greater success."

Cosmo's Midnight are consummate collaborators, previously working with artists like Tove Styrke, Winston's Surfshirt and Ruel, plus co-writing and producing one of BTS's 2020 hit songs 'Fly To My Room'. Their forward-thinking approach to creativity is a great fit for Kobalt whose international creative team's collaborative approach will expand the pair's already extensive network and support their songwriting development.
