Following highly successful sold-out events in Ghana and Nigeria over the past six months, Insights are pleased to announce that they'll be making their London debut at Wembley's The Aura this June 22 powered by Youtube.

Created by Muyiwa Awoniyi - founder of BSB management (Tems, Lekka Beats) and co-host of The Leading Vibe radio show on Apple Music - Insights was created as a conduit for education within the music industry. Centring around townhouse-styled sessions that offer attendees not just theoretical know-how on navigating the industry, Insights offers first-hand, practical insight from the most successful names across the business as well as real-world networking opportunities. On June 20, Muyiwa will be joined by a host of industry leaders including Dave, Jae 5, Ms Banks, Teezee, Dan Rais (CAA), Ariel (Youtube), Juls, Alex Boateng (co-president of Def Jam UK) and Ebi Sampson (AUGUST) – who will host individual intimate breakout sessions sharing knowledge within their respective fields. 

Speaking on Insights, Muyiwa says "I started insights fundamentally for two reasons. The first reason; due to the awareness of how huge the African music scene was becoming and the importance of having thorough knowledge about it in order to retain ownership of this cultural renaissance. People don't come here to find out "What is the meaning of publishing" but rather, they come here to learn deeper aspects of the industry such as "How to earn equity in the hearts of human beings".  The second reason for doing this is more personal. I have been blessed by the very community that consumes this very music of ours and the least I feel I could do is to educate and reorientate the minds of people who have the same interests as I do concerning the music industry; based on my lessons I have learnt through my personal experience.

Insights isn't some typical panel. The mixer type flow allows for a feel of comfort, food and drinks are served to welcome guests and individuals who are experts in their craft/field within the music industry are available to have dialogue with music enthusiasts in this type of setting. It allows for a true community build and also expands the network of individuals in a very authentic manner. I am so excited to be doing the 3rd edition of insights in London and I am also looking forward to taking this all around the world eventually."

Since its inception in Dec of last year, Insights has held two highly successful sold-out events in both Accra, Ghana and Lagos, Nigeria that have featured industry heavyweights such as Juls (producer – Tyler, the Creator, Burna Boy, Goldlink), Sarz (producer – Wizkid, Skepta), Wale Davis (co-manager of Tems & one-half of Show Dem Camp), Lanre Masha (The Orchard), Abdul Karim Abdullah (Founder of AfroFuture), Henny Yegezu (EQT founder – JPEGMAFIA, Smino, serpentwithfeet) & Ghanian star King Promise. The first of many British editions to come, Insights London is set to be the biggest iteration yet.
