IMPF appoints Nicole Schulze to new Secretary General role

New Secretary General role ‘a response to huge growth’ at IMPF.
A public policy professional with nearly 20 years’ experience in developing advocacy strategies and influencing legislative agendas, with a focus on intellectual property, media and digital policy, Nicole Schulze has worked with the creative sector in various capacities, including as Director at AEPO-ARTIS, and most recently as IP Policy Lead for Europe at Meta.
In her new role at IMPF, she will report directly to the President of the Board of Directors of IMPF. Ger Hatton remains with the organisation as a Senior Advisor and of Counsel and is appointed to its Board of Directors as a sitting member.
Annette Barrett, President of the IMPF Board, said: “The decision to create this new Secretary General role comes in response to IMPF’s huge growth and strategic development in recent years. We are serving more independent music publishers, from more countries, in more ways than ever before. We look forward to working with Nicole to support our members and advance the interests of music publishers globally. We are also delighted to announce that Ger Hatton, of Counsel to IMPF, will join the IMPF Board of Directors.”

She is a great acquisition for IMPF, and her expertise and skill set will be instrumental in taking our organisation to the next level.
