Growing indie publisher signs Tom Havelock

Independent publisher, Minds on Fire, have announced the signing of Tom Havelock (aka Tom Cane) to an exclusive writer deal.

Tom Havelock has been a successful songwriter since 2012, penning singles for Sub Focus, Eric Prydz, Anna of the North, Robin Schulz, Snakehips, and many others. His vocal is featured on huge streamers such as Wilkinson’s top 40 UK hit ‘Half Light’, Klangkarussell’s ’Netzwerk (Falls Like Rain), and Pete Tong’s recent Essential New Tune ‘Time’ by Carlita. The deal will also cover Tom writing with the four-piece PREP, whose success has taken them all over the world.
 
James Pitt, Minds On Fire A&R Director said, “Having used Tom as a writer before signing him we knew he was a massive talent, and with him being managed by Will from Triptik we thought we could make a fantastic team! As a company Minds On Fire have already had success with writer Robert Harvey (Joel Corry, David Guetta, Clean Bandit, Louis Tomlinson, Kaiser Chiefs) and we believe we can add to Tom’s career in a similar way. Myself and Tom Currie (Minds On Fire A&R Manager) have been getting him in sessions with dance producers initially while looking for the right projects in other styles.”
