German superstar DJ/Producer Alle Farben enters long-term partnership with Warner Music

Warner Music Central Europe is proud to welcome a very special new artist to the label: Alle Farben. The Berlin superstar DJ and producer is embarking on a long-term partnership with Warner Music, starting with the release of his first single on the label - “Alright (feat. KIDDO)” - on September 17.

The new single, a collaboration with Swedish singer-songwriter KIDDO, is an uplifting song about coming to terms with the repercussions of a breakup.

Alle Farben (real name Frans Zimmer) scored his first  global success with “She Moves” in 2014 and has since released a string of international hits, including "Supergirl," "Bad Ideas," "Please Tell Rosie," "Fading," "Only Thing We Know," "Little Hollywood" and, most recently, the collaboration "Somewhere Over The Rainbow / What A Wonderful World" with the legendary Robin Schulz.

The artist has generated a staggering two billion streams to date, and received 32 Diamond, Platinum and Gold certification awards from across Europe and Asia.  He has also had 12 airplay top 10 hits in Europe and four #1 tracks in Germany.

Alle Farben says: " I'm super excited about this partnership with the Warner team. I'm looking forward to enjoying more global smash hits and many great years together."

Andreas Weitkämper, Managing Director, Domestic and A&R, Warner Music Central Europe, adds: “We are delighted to welcome Alle Farben, another high profile DJ & producer.  Over the course of a decade, Frans has evolved from the heart of the Berlin house scene to the artist we all know and love today. His six-hour sets are legendary and his hits of recent years have already become classics of the genre. We are honored to embark on the next chapter of his groundbreaking career with the Alle Farben team and feel grateful to Frans for giving us his trust.”

Alle Farben was born in 1985 in the Berlin district of Kreuzberg, where he still lives today. He grew up in a family of artists and his musician brother inspired his first love for music by creating mixtapes for his Walkman, introducing him to Depeche Mode and The Cure.

Fast forward to the early 2000s, Frans would spend countless hours in Berlin record stores digging the crates for house and electro sounds, eventually recording his first own mixtape, which he uploaded to SoundCloud. Soon afterwards, he started calling himself Alle Farben, a nod to famed Austrian painter Friedensreich Hundertwasser, and played his first gigs in the Berlin LGBTQI+ scene, before increasingly making a name for himself on a wider scale, finally scoring his first major hit with “She Moves” in 2014.
