FRNDS MGMT announce new signings

With an impressive local roster boasting the likes of global icon Alison Wonderland, Sydney rockers DMA’S, indie-electronic trio Crooked ColoursPaces, ShockOne, GRAACE, and more, today newly launched FRNDS MGMT welcomes international talents Chet Porter, QUIET BISON, alongside a new wave of Australian up and comers including Don West, Tek Genesis, and Jack Slade.

“It’s exciting for us to be expanding internationally, signing new acts and hiring new people during what has been a tough year without touring. We feel we are ready to really push things to the next level for our artists as the world starts to come back to normal.” - Garth Crane, Leon Rogovoy, Ben Robinson.

FRNDS MGMT welcomes LA based, Canadian producer, singer, and social media troll, Chet Porter who has been on the rise in recent years. Whether it’s his summer dance pop singles, or his underwater live streams, or trolling the president Chet always has the internet abuzz. QUIET BISON joins the roster following his breakthrough debut EP Trials and Tribulations, which sent a shotgun blast into the dance music atmosphere, the 19-year-old Portland-producer captured the attention of the entire industry. QUIET BISON has garnered praise from tastemakers like Billboard Dance, Future Classic Recommends, and Dancing Astronaut, just to name a few. Following a series of singles including a feature from Flume-collaborator Reo Cragun, QUIET BISON’s debut album is slated for release in early 2021.

Hailing from Sydney’s northern beaches, Don West, is one of Australia’s best new talents, and a truly natural and charismatic showman. First opening for Lime Cordiale in 2019 without a song to his name, but exuding an unmistakable musicianship, West went onto release his debut single ‘Money’ via triple j Unearthed, landing at #6 on the overall chart. This year releasing ‘Equaliser’ featuring The Jezebels frontwoman Hayley Mary, a self assured sophomore single from an artist with plenty more up his sleeve. Next up, Australian producer, Tek Genesis presents a forward-thinking approach to experimental bass music. The young Sydney artist effortlessly weaves elements of bass music, hip-hop, acid, and jungle into a hostile yet ethereal library of dynamic sound. And last but not least, South Australian newcomer Jack Slade joins the roster, who’s been carefully curating the debut of his personal project set to launch early 2021.

Headed by Garth CraneLeon Rogovoy, and Ben RobinsonFRNDS MGMT have been quietly expanding behind the scenes throughout 2020, today announcing their expansion with offices across Sydney, Los Angeles, and London. Jacqui Bransky joins the LA office, having spent most of her career working in TV and Content development at A&E Networks and Snapchat, and will now be heading up US strategy, helping to manage all things US for the FRNDS roster.

Mark joins FRNDS from independent agency Analogue Dawn, and has spent the past 4 years on numerous campaigns and moving forward will be bringing his roster consisting of QUIET BISON, Tek Genesis, and recent signee Jack Slade into the agency. Whilst Adam joins the team following his roles with Falcona and WME, bringing along his roster including The RIOT, and I.E. In their positions, Mark & Adam will continue development on their own roster and expand within the FRNDS network.

With a plethora of both established and new talent on the roster, FRNDS MGMT are looking forward to a busy year ahead.
