Award-winning producer Fraser T Smith has launched his ground-breaking initiative The Future Producer Academy. Dedicated to advancing equality in the music industry, with a focus on music production, the Academy aims to provide aspiring young producers with unparalleled access to music production education and career opportunities. 

Having collaborated with global superstars like Adele, Stormzy, Dave, Celine Dion and Snow Patrol, Fraser T Smith's programme offers an incredible opportunity for the next generation of music. Each year, 16 aspiring music producers will be selected from across the UK to participate in this transformative programme. 

Fraser T Smith shares 'I'm delighted to launch the Future Producer Academy, and to be supporting the next generation of young music producers, with our focus on restoring the imbalance of gender, culture and privilege within the UK's creative space'. Restoring this imbalance is central to the initiative and the Academy will actively recruit participants from underrepresented groups. 

The programme promises to deliver world-class mentorship and music production tuition with the Academy partnering with Music Guardians, The Music Producers Guild (MPG), Phonographic Performance Limited (PPL) and online learning platform, Virtuoso as well as leading figures in the UK music industry. The Academy offers the incredible opportunity of mentorship from some of the most esteemed professionals alongside the commitment to secure paid work placements for all students upon completion of the programme. For more information head HERE.
