ESNS Exchange, the renowned European music programme, is proud to announce its successful celebration of the 20th anniversary of the programme (formerly known as ETEP) this year. The programme was established as ETEP in 2003 to overcome the significant challenges faced by the European pop music industry in international promotion and distribution. Now known as ESNS Exchange, the programme has created a strong network among stakeholders, facilitating, supporting, inspiring, and promoting the global circulation of creative European musical talent.
This year, the programme has continued to achieve its objectives with 347 shows by 148 acts from 36 countries at 90 festivals in 15 countries. ESNS Exchange's efforts, together with the amazing support of partners, export offices, Yourope and the EBU, have helped 2160 European artists from 36 countries perform at 5330 shows at 190 partner festivals in 44 countries over the past 20 years, making a positive impact on the European music industry. ESNS Exchange is looking forward to the future and in creating more opportunities for European acts across Europe as well as on the global level.
