Elli Chappelhow joins boutique music publicity company Yes Please

Boutique music publicity company Yes Please is delighted to welcome new colleague Elli Chappelhow who joins the broadcast team from EMI Records.

Elli embarked on her music career as an Editorial Intern at Gigwise while studying for a degree in Music Marketing and Communications at the University for the Creative Arts.

After graduating in 2020, Elli joined Universal Music UK as Communications Intern, before moving across to EMI Records in 2021. Joining the label's in-house PR team as a press assistant, Elli worked across campaigns such as Bree Runway, Bastille, Fletcher, Bellah Mae, Jords, Only The Poets and more.

Elli now joins Yes Please as a Broadcast Publicist, working across TV, Radio and Podcast campaigns for the agency alongside Radio & TV Promotions Manager Alex Dobson and Company Founder Ruth Emery. Speaking about her new role, Elli says, "I'm really happy to be joining the brilliant Yes Please team, and I'm super excited to sink my teeth into a different side of music promo as the landscape continues to evolve. Their roster is jam-packed with household names and emerging artists alike; many of their artists I've grown up listening to, and my ultimate goal is for some of the newer names on the books to achieve similar influence for generations to come."

Company Founder Ruth Emery says, “I’m super excited to have Elli join the team here at Yes Please. She is incredibly passionate about music and having a major label background is a huge asset to the company too. My mission is to build a happy, inspiring and supportive working environment for talent like Elli to thrive and it’s amazing to be growing the team as Yes Please enters its thirteenth year!"

Yes Please have also announced the promotion of Katie Ashton from Promotions Assistant to Publicist, working alongside Head of Press Caroline Beashel.

Launched by Ruth Emery in September 2012, Yes Please has since become one of the most trusted and well-renowned PR agencies in the UK. Taking a holistic approach to artist publicity, working campaigns across TV, radio, press, online, podcasts and festivals, Yes Please has built up a diverse roster including blur, Arlo Parks, elbow, Laufey, Texas, Frank Turner, The Streets, Wilderness Festival and many more. In 2020 Ruth launched her Artist Coaching offering and continues to work with a wide range of artists, managers and labels to help support their wellbeing within the music space.

Boasting a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge across all UK media platforms, Yes Please’s philosophy is to employ a creative and forward-thinking approach to every campaign and be multifaceted and flexible in the ever-evolving world of the music industry.
