The list features the top 5 emerging live music acts that DICE predicts will dominate stages in 2024.
DICE has used ticketing data from its shows and industry insights from artist managers, labels and venue partners to select and spotlight the top emerging artists and bands that you won't want to miss seeing live this year.
If you want to be one step ahead of the pack, check out the round-up below. Trust us, you'll thank DICE in six months' time when you smugly have tickets to all of the best sold-out shows.
Venna (DICE, Spotify, Instagram)
Grammy-winning saxophonist and producer, Venna, has collaborated with many well known artists, from Burna Boy and Wizkid, to Knucks, Yussef Dayes and more. Known for his ability to seamlessly blend rap with melodic jazz beats, Venna is creating waves in the UK hip-hop scene bringing something new to the table.
Venna's first ever live shows at DICE partner venue, The Lower Third, sold out in just minutes with over 2,500 waiting list ticket requests. With over 800k monthly listeners on Spotify (and counting) you'll want to make sure his next gigs are on your radar to avoid missing out.
Joe James (DICE, Spotify, Instagram)
Bubbling up in the underground UK rap scene for a few years now, Joe James has made a name for himself with raw, authentic raps that speak to the experience of young people today. The rapper is known for his close collaborations with KwolleM, and his storytelling style has set him apart from the rest of the pack.
James took matters into his own hands when it came to promoting his first live shows last summer, sending a newsletter to fans asking them to sign up if they were interested. With thousands of responses and registrations to buy tickets on DICE, the shows were completely sold out. 2024 will see Joe James continue to build his live shows and presence so make sure to keep an eye on your notifications to avoid missing out.
Love Remain (DICE, Spotify, Instagram)
Anonymous UK producer, Love Remain, is still somewhat hiding in the shadows but has steadily been building a cult following since the release of their fantastic album 'Still in Awe' in 2023.
Inspired by breakbeat and UK garage, the enigmatic electronic producer now has almost 33k monthly listeners on Spotify and debuted their first sold-out gig at Bermondsey Social Club in April last year. This was followed by yet another sold-out show at Corsica Studios in November. As fans of the elusive producer grow, 2024 is set to be a big year in live for the South London artist.
Naomi Sharon (Spotify, Instagram)
If you aren't already one of Naomi Sharon's 1.2 million monthly listeners then this breakout artist should definitely be top of your playlists for this year. Newly signed to Drake's OVO Sound, the alt R&B artist is already making a name for herself with her stunning vocals and debut album 'Obsidian' which was released in 2023.
The Caribbean-Dutch vocalist will kick off her touring journey in 2024 so make sure to set reminders as this won't be one to miss.
41 (Spotify)
The Brooklyn-based hip hop group that is taking over NYC, 41, has created a huge buzz already with their Jersey-inspired drill bents. Meet Jenn Carter, Kyle Richh & TaTa, who's breakout single 'Bent' has garnered them over 3 million Spotify listeners and millions of streams on YouTube.
They had their first official NYC show in October with Republic Records, and created a complete roadblock when appearing on their double decker bus that took fans on a tour of the city. Expect big things this coming year.
Leon Sherman, Interim Vice President of Artist Development at DICE said: "It's talent like this that makes me excited about the live music industry in 2024. Seeing the incredible creativity and authenticity each artist brings to their performances, it's not hard to understand why they're already drawing a massive fan base and selling out shows on DICE.
"I can't wait to see how they continue to captivate live audiences with even more outstanding performances this year. Although it looks like we'll need to move quickly to be in with a chance of grabbing a ticket."
Venna said: "It's wicked to be named as one of DICE's 'Ones to Watch' for 2024. It's gonna be a big year. I got lots in store! More shows to be announced very very soon also, with tickets on DICE, so keep your eyes locked!"
