  • Long-term primary ticketing partnership solidifies DICE's presence in Leeds after a wave of major venue signings across the country
  • Tickets available now on DICE for Project House's opening season including Bombay Bicycle Club, Nubya Garcia and BADBADNOTGOOD

DICE, the live events and discovery platform, has been named as the primary ticketing partner for Project House, a new 1,000 capacity cultural concept and venue opening in Leeds, this summer. The long-term partnership solidifies DICE's presence in Leeds following a wave of exciting venue signings and city launches across the UK.

The new state-of-the art venue will open in mid-July as Leeds celebrates its Year of Culture 2023. Project House's multi-use events space will host a varied programme of music, exhibitions, vintage, food and record markets, conferences and parties. The venue, on Armley Road, launches with a jam-packed summer season and exciting line-up of events, including the Project House Launch Party featuring Kamaal Williams (15 July), British indie-rock group Bombay Bicycle Club (26 July), fast rising jazz virtuoso saxophonist Nubya Garcia (28 July), and award-winning Canadian jazz outfit BADBADNOTGOOD (28 Aug)

Tickets are available now on DICE, with further programming to be announced soon.

Project House is the brainchild of some of the most influential names and promoters in the Leeds live music scene, who have joined forces to bring fans a new, innovative and flexible events space. This includes Nathan Clark from renowned venue Brudenell Social Club, Tom Brown and Sam Barratt from Welcome Skate Store, Ash Kollakowski and Simon Stevens from the iconic Belgrave Music Hall, and Ben Lewis from the independent cultural programmers, Super Friendz. Together, the Project House team has been instrumental in running some of the city's most-loved cultural spaces and bringing artists such as The War on Drugs, Haim, Four Tet, The xx, and former DICE Live Award winner Loyle Carner to Leeds.

DICE accelerates growth across the UK

DICE has rapidly expanded in new cities and markets globally, with millions of fans using DICE every month. In the UK, the platform now has over 10,000 events and launched for the first time in Scotland and Liverpool earlier this year.

This multi-year partnership with Project House follows a wave of iconic venue signings for DICE in recent months, including Alexandra Palace, its largest independent venue partner to date in the UK, Outernet, the biggest live events venue to be built in the centre of London since the 1940s, CONTENT in Liverpool, and Manchester's iconic New Century

DICE helps fan to discover the best live events

DICE's mission is to get fans out more. The platform is known for innovative features such as its Discovery tool, which utilises algorithms as well as Spotify and Apple Music integration to learn what each fan loves and gives personalised event recommendations. As a result, over 40% of ticket sales on DICE come via Discovery.

DICE's easy-to-use app locks tickets to smartphones, protecting fans from ticket touts and ensuring fair, transparent pricing. DICE also offers a Waiting List which gets activated when a show sells out, giving fans the chance to enjoy an event at a fair price without engaging in secondary resales, whilst helping artists and venues like Project House to benefit from hosting sold out events.

Lewis Wilde, Head of Music Partnerships at DICE said: "Growing up next door in Bradford, Leeds and its culture has a special place in my heart. The team behind Project House has been instrumental in developing the city's live music scene, so seeing them come together on this new space is amazing. We're incredibly excited to be partnering with them to launch Project House as one of Leeds' biggest new venues with a string of amazing shows already in store. This deal is part of our ongoing commitment to help more fans discover the best live events across the UK and create a better, fairer ticketing experience."

The team behind Project House said: "We've been working on this concept for over 5 years now but finding a suitable home for the project hasn't been straightforward. Although this is the first time the group have worked on a project together, personal relationships within the group stretch back over 25 years so it's been a lot of fun! We've been lucky enough to work with some great people on the project, including the team at DICE. We're really excited to be using DICE's fan-first platform to ticket our amazing summer line up."
