GRAMMY-winning British pop trio Clean Bandit have just joined an exclusive club of musicians obtaining a billion streams on FOUR songs. 'Solo' (feat. Demi Lovato) just hit the milestone, following their hits 'RatherBe', 'Rockabye', and 'Symphony'. The only other UK bands in the Spotify's Billions Club at this level are Queen, Coldplay, Arctic Monkeys, and One Direction.
Clean Bandit shared a video on Instagram this morning celebrating the arrival of their fourth plaque from Spotify – you can watch it here!
Originally released in May 2018, 'Solo' became Clean Bandit’s fourth UK No.1 and gave featured vocalist Demi Lovato her first ever chart-topping single. By the end of the year, the track was announced as 2018’s most searched song on Shazam and received two BRIT nominations. In June 2023, their self-made surreal music video for 'Solo' reached over a billion views on YouTube, Clean Bandit’s third video to do so after 'Rockabye' and 'Symphony'. All three videos were directed by the band.
