CCS Rights Signs Sub-Publishing Agreement with Ireland's premier music publisher Bardis Music



In Canada, CCS will manage the Bardis Music Company’s catalog of world-renowned songs, including Ronan Hardiman's music from the famed Irish dance musical Lord of the Dance! 

 

CCS Rights Management (CCS), a leading global independent music publishing, rights administration, and creative services company, has concluded an exclusive sub-publishing agreement with Irelands premier music publisher, Bardis Music Company Ltd. 

Through the deal, CCS will represent Bardis Musi Companys catalog in the territory of Canada, managing major works by top Irish songwriters and composers including Ronan Hardiman (Lord of the Dance), Nathan Carter, Daniel O’Donnell, Eurovision winning composer Shay Healy, Marty Mone, Liam Reilly, Brian Warfield, John Farry, Marc Roberts, Mark Armstrong, Stephen McKeon, Fiachna Ó Braonáin, PJ Murrihy, Éanán Patterson, Darren Hendley and more.  Some of the artists represented are The Wolfe Tones, Bagatelle, Hot House Flowers, Niall Toner and Picture House. 

The Dublin-based company is owned by father and daughter team Peter and Gráinne Bardon.  Peter Bardon is also an ex-Chairman of the Board of MCPS Ireland. For over 40 years, the Bardis Music Company has published many of Irelands most well-known songs, including classics such as Irish star Tina's "Cross Your Heart" written by Paul Lyttle; Marty Mones’ "Hit The Diff"; Liam Reillys "Summer In Dublin" and "Flight Of Earls"; Patsy Cavanaghs "Home To Donegal"; and John Duggans "Roads Of Kildare" and "Rose Of Castlerea," among many others. 

The Bardis Music Company is highly active in Ireland’s film and TV market with the soundtrack to the Oscar- nominated movie "Albert Nobbs" composed by Brian Byrne, as well as music from "The Nephew," "The Flag," "Queen and Country," the "Jack Taylor" series, "The Tigers Tail," "My Names is Emily," and the animated films "Legends of Valhalla: Thor" and "Niko 2 – Little Brother, Big Trouble."
