BBC Radio 2 listeners to vote for their Ultimate 21st Century Eurovision Song
31 March 2025 - Press releaseThe UK's favourite 21st Century Eurovision song will be announced in a Top 40 countdown chart on BBC Sounds and Radio 2, presented by Michelle Visage.
With just over a month to go until the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel – the first time the city has hosted the event – Radio 2 has launched a listener vote to discover Your Ultimate 21st Century Eurovision Song!
The vote - which was launched this morning (31st March) on The Scott Mills Breakfast Show (6.30-9.30am) - gives listeners the opportunity to 'make their mind up' and cast up to five votes from a list of 67 songs at www.bbc.co.uk/radio2eurovision. The vote closes at 12 noon on Friday 11th April.
The results will be revealed in a Top 40 countdown chart hosted by Radio 2 presenter and lifelong Eurovision superfan, Michelle Visage, exclusively on BBC Sounds from Tuesday 22nd April and on Radio 2 from 3-5pm on Eurovision Super Saturday (17th May), with all shows that day building up the excitement to that night's Grand Final – once again be presented by Rylan and Scott Mills on Radio 2 and BBC Sounds - which will see the UK's entry, Remember Monday, performing What the Hell Just Happened?
