Barrie Marshall collects International Promoter of the Year award for the fourth consecutive year at the 31st annual Pollstar Awards in Los Angeles

For the fourth consecutive year, Barrie Marshall has collected the award for International Promoter of The Yearat the 31st Pollstar Awards in Los Angeles on 6th February 2020. Following an incredible 2019, which saw Marshall Arts promote shows worldwide with its stellar roster including Cher, Herbie Hancock and Paul McCartney, the awards also saw Elton John pick up an accolade for Major Tour of The Year and P!nk for Best Pop Tour. 

Elton John was awarded Major Tour of the Year for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. Alongside AEG Presents, Marshall Arts have produced the UK and European legs of the 2019 and 2020 tour, with a total of 78 shows in 16 countries. Sir Elton was in Los Angeles to attend the Oscars Party and therefore able to collect his award in person. After explaining that he had just flown in from New Zealand Elton added to roaring approval, "I'm very competitive so I want to win the fucking thing next year as well."

Best Pop Tour went to P!nk for her Beautiful Trauma World Tour. Marshall Arts produced her hugely successful UK and European Summer stadium tour playing a total of 27 shows in 12 countries in 2019. Ultimately, P!nk delivered an incredible 1,194,697 ticket sales across the tour.
