Audio Technology Startup RoEx Appoints Jason Reed to Head of Growth & Operations



 

  • Reed to lead growth strategy for first-of-its-kind intelligent mixing platform

RoEx, the tech startup pioneering AI-driven mixing and mastering, has appointed Jason Reed to the newly created role of Head of Growth and Operations.

Reed will lead go-to-market and growth strategies across RoEx’s intelligent audio production tools that streamline the creative process for musicians, producers, their releasing partners and rightsholders.

Working alongside RoEx’s development team, Reed will focus on incorporating user feedback and delivering ongoing improvements to RoEx’s flagship product, the AI-powered multitrack mixing platform, Automix. He will grow B2B partnerships around the company’s Intelligent Audio Engine API, Tonn, which accelerates the mixing and mastering process for large volumes of multitrack music projects.

In his most recent role as Senior Product Owner at Roundhouse Trust, Reed spearheaded projects to enhance digital experiences and foster engagement at the iconic London music venue. This included the development of its website, which won a BIMA Award for Best User Experience. 

Prior to this, Reed was Head of Technology at Domino, where he developed tools for catalogue management, and oversaw the label’s website, e-commerce store and DSP operations. His other past positions include Global Head of Marketing and Promotions at FUGA, and Head of Digital at Ministry of Sound Recordings. 

In addition to Reed’s appointment, RoEx has recently grown its team of strategic advisors. These include Becky Brook, who joined the company having worked with the likes of 7digital, Lickd, Sony Pictures and Warner Music. Brook is working alongside Scott Simon, who previously held senior leadership roles at Waves and iZotope, with a focus on developing RoEx’s B2B partnerships across the music industry and creator tools space. Simon recently helped to bring RoEx’s Mix Check Studio, an acclaimed free tool delivering actionable feedback on mixes, to market. They join Elio Quinton, current VP of AI at Universal Music Group, who played a key role in the founding of RoEx and provides ongoing support for R&D, whilst 73 times Platinum-certified and Grammy-winning engineer Rich Keller has advised on the quality and output of the company’s mixing and mastering system.
