Anara Publishing Blends Britain and Bollywood with Original Soundtrack

UK pioneering music publisher Anara Publishing have bridged the gap between Western talent and South Asian entertainment, producing the original soundtrack for brand-new Bollywood film ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’. Teaming up with the prestigious Jio Studios and Baweja Studios, the highly anticipated Hindi film directed by Danish Aslam is brought to life by a vibrant soundtrack, spearheaded by several of Anara Publishing’s finest international artists.

Widely recognised for representing a diverse range of independent musicians across the globe, Anara Publishing are committed to breaking down cultural barriers to deliver fresh and innovative music to new audiences. The collaboration with Jio and Baweja Studios showcases an eclectic mix of both Western and Indian Anara artists, highlighting the UK based music publishers’ growing influence within India.

On the partnership, Baweja Studios CEO Harman Baweja commented "At Baweja Studios, we pride ourselves on championing fresh talent and pushing creative boundaries. For Khwaabon Ka Jhamela, our vision was to bring a vibrant and diverse soundscape to life, which is why collaborating with Anara Publishing and their global artists was a natural choice. The result is a soundtrack that beautifully blends cultures, delivering a unique and memorable musical experience”.

The new Bollywood movie features two original soundtracks by Anara Publishing artists, including some who reside outside of India and are entering one of the world’s most dynamic film industries for the first time. Firstly, the hit title track written and performed by Siddharth Basrur, Chandan Raina and Surya Ragunaathan, which showcases some of Anara Publishing’s India based talent. A peppy and upbeat anthem, ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’ playfully navigates the delightful chaos of your dreams. The song eRortlessly blends vibrant melodies with lyrics that capture the whimsical messiness of aspirations as vast as the sky,

The second original soundtrack ‘Jee Le Tu’ is a more introspective and tender piece, featuring atmospheric production by Birmingham (UK) based artist Ed Geater, in collaboration with Subhi Khanna. Both signed to Anara Publishing, the two artists teamed up with Shahzan Mujeeb who added a layer of depth and emption through his evocative vocals. Beautifully complementing Ed Geater’s ethereal soundscapes, the duo creates a song that captures both the intimacy and grandeur of the film's narrative.

On the collaboration with Jio and Baweja Studios, Anara Publishing’s Head of Partnerships Deepa commented “Working side by side with the production and creative

teams to put together this soundtrack has been fascinating. It’s not every day that one can say they’ve worked on a film! The indie music community is thriving worldwide, and we’re hoping more such opportunities arise for independent artists in the film industry”.

The brilliant new Hindi film ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’ oRicially released on 8th November on Jio Cinema. The epic soundtrack is now also available to listen to in full across all major digital streaming platforms.
