Respected indie label specializes in premium-quality historical releases and reissues as well as select releases of new music on CD, vinyl, and digital

Today, ADA Worldwide, the independent label and artist services arm of Warner Music Group (Nasdaq: WMG), announced their partnership with Omnivore Recordings, which will see the company cover global distribution for Omnivore’s entire catalog as well as new releases. A leader in premium-quality audio, Omnivore specializes in historical releases, reissues, and previously unissued vintage recordings as well as select releases of new music, on CD, vinyl, and digital.

Cheryl Pawelski, Partner, Omnivore, said: "We are so pleased to be back in the Warner family, where all of us at Omnivore have had deep ties throughout our careers. ADA and Warner Music Group have historically prioritized music, artists, quality, and creativity above all else and continue to do so to this day. We look forward to working together in close partnership with ADA Worldwide to release more exciting musical discoveries from the archives."

Adriana Sein, Global Head of Artist & Market Development, ADA Worldwide, said: “Omnivore shares the same passion and respect for high-quality music that we do at ADA. The team has a remarkable commitment to ensuring their historical releases preserve the original sound of the recording, and they show that same care when it comes to releasing new music in both physical and digital formats. With expertise in both areas, and a team dedicated to catalog, we’re excited for this partnership and confident that ADA will help bring Omnivore to the next level.”

Omnivore’s diverse catalog includes recordings from the likes of The Muffs, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Steve Cropper, Alex Chilton, Art Pepper, and The Cowsills. Recent releases include, Art Pepper’s The Complete Maiden Voyage Recordings, Laura Nyro’s Trees Of The Ages: Laura Nyro Live In Japan, and Stephen Stills’ Live At Berkeley, 1971. The label also notably landed a 2024 Grammy® nod for Best Album Notes for I Can Almost See Houston: The Complete Howdy Glenn. Based in Los Angeles, Omnivore was founded in 2010 by three-time Grammy® Award-winning producer Cheryl Pawelski; graphic designer & photographer Greg Allen; former WMG executive Brad Rosenberger; and music industry vet Dutch Cramblitt.

The news comes on the heels of ADA’s recent global deals with top independent labels such as 10K Projects and Rostrum Records, adding to an already impressive list of partners that includes Sub-Pop, VP Records, Mute, Chocolate City, and many more. This year, ADA has also supported major releases from rising stars around the globe who have seen strong runs on the charts including, Latin Grammy® winner Quevedo, Bellakath, Bennett, Ayvila, and many more.
