We say

After gushing about The Wholls debut X21 twice at the end of 2015, now comes something new. That’s not to say that X21 has been forgotten about (as we suspect that track is about to receive a whole new audience in the coming weeks), but the lads are prepping an explosive album for release in the spring and teaser songs from it keep coming our way. This shows a different side to the directness of the previously featured track. Think more Rage Against the Machine meets Arctic Monkeys, cunningly built to send any young pumped-up crowd absolutely mental in a festival tent this summer. This song will soon be accompanied by a groundbreaking animated video in the next few weeks. Meanwhile there’s a TV profile of the band this evening (January 6) just after midnight on Channel 4’s new Future Sounds music strand. X21 is the Track of The Day today with This Feeling at Radio X and they play their tastemaker club night this Saturday (January 9) at Nambucca in North London. Exciting, fresh and with so much more to reveal during 2016, this will be their year.
