Sigala is the alias of British producer Bruce Fielder and he’s about to score a late-summer smash with this perfect party floorfiller. Using a cleared sample of the Jackson 5’s classic ABC that Tito Jackson personally approved when he visited Sigala’s studio, the stats are already stacking up quickly. It’s the most-played pre-release song across the Capital group, where it was added nine weeks upfront while Kiss added it eight weeks ahead of release. It’s already in the Top 50 UK Radio Airplay chart, No.4 on Shazam, No.3 on their pre-release chart and sits inside iTunes Top 200 more than a month before it’s finally unleashed. Add to that over half a million Soundcloud plays and 1.2m YouTube audio plays. Once it inevitably charts in the UK, we reckon it’s got that broad appeal to become a pan-European, then international, monster too. Radio 1 support so far has come from Grimmy, Scott Mills, Pete Tong and Dev. Even Zane Lowe couldn’t resist a few spins on his Beats 1 show last week. Bright, fun, singalong and instantly familiar, watch it end up as one of 2015’s biggest-sellers.
