Radio 1’s Track Of The Day today is this supremely cool tune from Disciples, a south London-based trio. Originally premiered by Pete Tong as his Essential New Tune on the station at the end of the summer and now signed to his legendary FFRR record label, it was then championed by key tastemakers from the world of dance and now sits comfortably inside the Shazam Top 100, growing week by week. Duvall, Luke and Gavin write, produce and perform on all their own tracks and this new banger comes after their previous underground hits Remedy and Poison Arrow set them up as an act to keep a very close eye on. It led to them working on remix projects for Coldplay, Lana Del Rey and John Newman and an offer of their own residency in Ibiza last summer after they played a six hour set at Sankeys. These talented guys are amongst the UK’s brightest and sharpest players in dance right now. This song will be their mainstream breakthrough - now watch it fly.
