Girls
We say
Need an instant fix of electro pop with a saucy chorus, insidious hook and the words 'worldwide smash' written all over it? Try Beatrice Eli and this hot new Scandanavian release that's just waiting to be picked up and turned into a global monster this summer, we reckon. We've featured her in the past a couple of times, notably last year with the soulful Violent Silence. The story goes that her latest song came after she'd been suffering from writer's block, before then spending a month slaving over this brutally honest confessional about sexuality and lusting over her teacher. It's reflected in the memorable single shot 'touchy-feely' video - it's actually one that we can picture groups of teenagers doing their own viral pastiche version of, with all their mates gathered together on the floor. Just you watch.
