We say
Fresh from supporting R&B superstar Miguel in her native Stockholm, rising synthpop siren Beatrice Eli digitally releases the diverse four-track It's Over EP this week. Building on the underground buzz of last year's The Conqueror, stand-out track Violent Silence is co-written with Daniel Ledinsky and Saska Becker, packing a punch with its anthemic chorus and portentous drums. Across-the-board tastemaker press and blog support has come in from, among others, Pitchfork, The Line of Best Fit, The Guardian and The 405, while Amazing Radio have pitched in with spins across several shows. Inevitable comparisons with Amy Winehouse have been made, although we think Beatrice aligns more closely with Scandinavia's strong alt-pop lineage such as Robyn, Lykke Li and Oh Land. Signed to Razzia Records in Sweden, Beatrice is available for records ROW.Contact
