This is the debut single of 22 year-old half English- half Italian Savoretti, it’s also the debut release of De Angelis, a label set up by manager Anne Barrett (who used to manage Natalie Imbruglia). He featured on two duets on Shelley Poole's album, Hard Time For The Dreamer, including the wonderful closing track Hope. The Daily Telegraph's Neil McCormick called this "music from the source". We know what he means; Jack lends a strong soulful voice to some really astute writing. It's a quality debut which stands out from an infinite stream of troubadours on the market. An album awaits early next year. JF
