Robin Schulz and Junkx sign worldwide publishing deal with BMG

BMG is pleased to announce Robin Schulz, one of the world's most successful DJs and producers, has signed a worldwide long-term publishing agreement with BMG. Robin Schulz's songwriting and producing crew "Junkx" made up of Stefan Dabruck, Dennis Bierbrodt, Guido Kramer and Jürgen Dohr, have also signed to BMG’s publishing arm.

BMG will represent and manage the publishing rights of existing and future works by Schulz and the Junkx crew, including chart toppers ‘Headlights’ and ‘Show Me Love’.

Robin Schulz has become one of the most distinguished DJs in his home country in Germany, where he received top certifications in 2015 for his works. Schulz achieved Platinum status for his 2014 debut album Prayer and Gold status for his follow-up album Sugar. Title track ‘Sugar’, featuring Francesco Yates, 'Headlights', featuring Ilsey, and ‘Sun Goes Down’, featuring Jasmine Thompson, have reached Platinum status. Schulz’s remix of 'Prayer In C' by Lilly Wood & The Pricks is three time Gold certified and Mr. Probz’ ‘Waves’ remix is five time Gold certified.

In 2016, Schulz won two gongs at the ECHO Awards, Germany’s highest prize in music. He beat stiff competition in both the Dance category and Best Live Performance in Foreign Countries category. He has also recently completed a tour throughout Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Maik Pallasch, Managing Director of BMG GSA, said: "Robin Schulz is one of the most successful DJs and ‘Junkx’ are one of the strongest writing and production teams of our time. We are very pleased to provide international support for their future creative work and in all administrative areas."

Robin Schulz said: "Thanks to the strength and competence of BMG, I am able to extend our publishing business together with Junkx, here in Germany and around the world. We couldn’t be happier about that."

Junkx said: "BMG understands us and how we work in a way no other publisher has. Within the first few weeks of working together, BMG has already proved how well we can benefit from their international network. In the 20 years of working in the music industry, we have not experienced such professionalism. We are delighted to be working with the entire BMG team. "
