Eventbrite Hires Seasoned Industry Veterans in Nightlife and Dance to Drive Continued Momentum in Music

Eventbrite, the world's largest event technology platform which powers two million events around the globe each year, today announced three prominent hires from the dance and nightlife industry in the US: Barak Schurr, Diego Carlin, and Senthil Chidambaram.

The strategic hires come on the heels of an expanding roster of high-profile customer wins (Ministry of Sound, WOMAD, Boomtown, Margin Walker Presents, PopGun Presents Elsewhere and Lincoln Hall/Schubas) and as the company continues on its path to bring innovative solutions to the global music industry.

Schurr, an Official Nightclub Hall of Fame inductee, spent the last fifteen-plus years building Wantickets.com into a category leader in nightlife and dance. At Eventbrite, he will lead a team focused on meeting the complex needs of marquee nightclub and venue customers.

A former record label executive, Carlin played an integral role in creating the brand and voice for Wantickets.com, helping to drive the company's growth trajectory.

Under Chidambaram's leadership, Dancing Astronaut became the leading web-based dance music publication in the United States. He will bring his personal passion for, and extensive knowledge of, the evolving dance music terrain to the Eventbrite team.
