ELI & FUR LAUNCH THE FIRST ARTIST PARTNERSHIP WITH BEATPORT

Rising up rapidly over the last three years, British DJ and production duo Eli & Fur have staked their claim as one of the most in demand acts in electronic music today. 

Following a tip off by Beatport hailing the duo as their one’s to watch this year, the first half of 2015 has seen the pair speak at Ibiza's International Music Summit, appearing as part of the ’New Breed’ panel, been invited to mix this year’s Space Ibiza compilation and received praise from several dance music tastemakers including Pete Tong. 

Following releases on the likes of Defected, Anujadeep and their own NYX Records, Eli & Fur are preparing to unveil their newest single, ‘Your Eyes’ which will be exclusively streamed by Beatport from today for the next four weeks. 

A track as weighty as it is driving, ‘Your Eyes’ places Eli & Fur in emotional territory. Low slung basslines throb over reverberated synth sounds, washing over the song in thick textures  and adding another dimension to the trademark combination of powerful rhythms and echoed vocal lines. ‘Your Eyes’ is geared as much towards headphone listening as it is to the dancefloor, revelling in intricate melodic delays and off-beat percussive one-shots, adding evidence to the fact that Eli & Fur are way more than a singularly club-minded flash in the pan. 

With appearances across the globe, Eli & Fur will be stopping down several times in Ibiza this summer for Sankeys, Space and Ushuaia as well as playing key UK festivals including High Definition, Creamfields and Secret Garden Party as well as European and US based festivals.  Also forthcoming is a ‘Thelma and Louise’ style road trip across the US, where Eli & Fur will take ‘Your Eyes’ on the road to audiences around the world.
